THE
ORIGIN OF THE
FOUR SCIENTISTS CLUB
The Four Scientists
Club was formed on the night of July 27, 2003 to investigate the unsolved
murder of Judith Mae Andersen in Chicago back in 1957. |
| |
Peter
and Shelly purchased a house in Chicago a little over a year ago. |
|
| |
|
Recently
they were in the basement, along with Alan, tearing out some drywall to
put in some insulation. They discovered a book that was covered in newspaper
hidden in the ceiling of the basement. |
| |
The book was
titled "How to Attain and Practice the Ideal Sex Life". The book
was copyright 1940 by J. Rutgers. Pages were dog eared in the puberty section. |
|
| |
|
The book was
covered in a Chicago Sun-Times newspaper article from September 1957 (as
we later discovered) and detailed the investigation of the murder of Judith
Mae Andersen. This seemed a strange cover if someone wanted to divert attention
away from the contents of the book inside. |
| |
Also discovered
in the basement was a painting of a skull done a a shelf. |
|
| |
|
I attended a
barbeque at Peter and Shelly's house and they told me of their discoveries.
We all started talking and speculation ran to the possibility that the murderer
had lived in their house and that the book wrapped in the article and perhaps
the skull painting were left behind by the murderer. So we decided we would
investigate and see if there was a link. We chose a name from the article
that referenced the "four scientists" as a source for the information
about the case. |
| |
Along with our
search for new clues, I am filming a documentary about our investigation
and Peter is planning a book. |
